The Privacy and Access Council of Canada

The voice for privacy and access

You are here: Home / Congress / Register to Attend

Register to Attend

Some people think that an event that offers dozens of short and concurrent sessions, attended by a small city’s worth of people, indicates a worthwhile conference. They also think that packing as many delegates as possible into a venue, and having lots of speakers (who might only get to talk for five minutes in three days) are indicators of good value or superior quality.

We disagree.

We think it’s more important to be able to follow up with the person who asked that terrific question. Or the one who had a great idea.

We also think that speakers need and deserve more than a few minutes to be able to share their insights.

So we limit attendance, have longer sessions than usual, and discourage speakers from relying on PowerPoint (unless it genuinely adds value). That leaves plenty of time for you to pose thoughtful questions, get unscripted answers, network, and engage in meaningful conversations with presenters, colleagues, and decision makers.

Congress Pricing

We discourage speakers from shilling their products or services — which means we decline sponsorships from companies that insist it’s their right to deliver what amounts to thinly-veiled sales pitches. (If that’s what you think makes a great conference, we can suggest several other events to attend.) Despite that, our all-in registration fees are remarkably affordable.

PACC Member — Click to register — $625
Non-member — Click to register — $750

Registration Includes

• Full access to all workshops, keynotes, and professional development sessions

• All meals and networking opportunities

• There is no single day registration option

More Ways to Save

If you are affiliated with a speaker or sponsor, contact them directly and ask for their Courtesy Code to register at a reduced rate.

IMPORTANT: Please note that special offers cannot be combined and are available for non-registered delegates only. All savings are taken off the full conference fee unless otherwise noted.

Do you have an extensive network that would be interested in this event? You can save on your registration and pass the savings on to your contacts by becoming a Congress Partner. Contact our marketing team for more information.
