The Privacy and Access Council of Canada

The voice for privacy and access

You are here: Home / Congress / Justify your Attendance

Justify your Attendance

We know how difficult it is to get budget approval to attend conferences — even an event as valuable and unique as the National Privacy & Data Governance Congress — despite the fact that keeping your skills and knowledge current is essential to be able to be effective in your role.

We want to make getting approval to attend the National Privacy & Data Governance Congress a simple process.

The Congress offers a unique opportunity to connect with regulators and industry leaders, to gain practical guidance, and knowledge that is immediately relevant to your role and your organization. So we’ve prepared a sample letter and expense breakdown sheet for your use.

Think about how the Congress content aligns with your organization. Download a “Justify Your Attendance“ package and then customize the letter to emphasize the benefits your attendance will contribute. We also suggest that you create a post-conference action plan outlining how you will educate your coworkers.

If you require additional information or backing, please reach the PACC team at Congress_at_PACC-CCAP_dot_ca
