MARK LIZAR is the CEO of the Canadian Transparency Lab and Director of the Open Privacy Network, based in Estonia.
Mark’s research, standards contributions and advocacy have been part of creating change in policy, and regulation scaling privacy in surveillance, CCTV Code of Practice the UK, Consent in Europe and Meaningful Consent in Canada. Mark holds a MSc in Social Research Methods, from London South Bank University and a BA in Law, Criminology, Sociology & Anthropology from Carleton University. He is a regular conference speaker, analyst and consultant for Digital Privacy and Consent in Identity management, Cyber Security, and Trust.
