Privacy expertise required
Manage incoming requests for information, interpret policy, prepare responses and make recommendations regarding the application of the Privacy Act, the Access to Information Act, Treasury Board Directives and similar FCC obligations.
What you’ll do:
- Help interpret, educate and administer FCC’s privacy and access to information program
- Assist in administering FCC’s responsibilities under the Privacy Act and the Access to Information Act
- Prepare formal responses for requests for information under the Privacy Act, the Access to Information Act and similar requests
- Receive and investigate certain privacy breach incidents and prepare the necessary responses, reporting and communication for review
- Create and maintain records for reporting purposes
- Help document recovery and requests for information

What you’ll need:
- A bachelor’s degree in administration, communication or business and at least four years of experience (or an equivalent combination of education and experience)
- Experience in a privacy or access to information role is an asset
- Experience with workflow and documentation systems is an asset
