Salary $69,900.80 – $79,791.25 annually
Who we are:
Supporting both the Ministry of Social Development and Poverty Reduction (SDPR) and the Ministry of Children and Family Development (MCFD), the Information Systems Division provides strong IM/IT planning, services, and solutions.
The Team Lead, Business Analysis provides expert business analysis/consulting services and plans ongoing business and technology needs consistent with government and ministry strategic plans, system standards and interfacing requirements. This is a challenging role where you will lead multiple project teams; meet with program managers to identify how technology can be used more effectively to resolve business issues; and lead the preparation of detailed business cases and project feasibility studies and provide recommendations.
Who you are:
This role requires a business analyst with experience working on high risk projects, including management of financial and human resources. You are multi-faceted with knowledge of change and project management, application design and development life cycle and all aspects of IT security. The Team Lead is an expert in their field, innovative and able to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to meet corporate goals.

Qualifications for this role include:
• Degree, diploma, certification in the computer science field or a related discipline; OR a combination of education and experience may be considered.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience providing business analysis on high risk projects, including management of financial and human resources.
• Experience supervising staff including assignment of work, development and evaluation of performance plans and approval of leave within the last 12 months. Preference may be given to candidates with more than 3 years current supervisory experience.
