Privacy and Access Council of Canada

THE voice for privacy AND access

Registration

We think that everyone who participtes in the Privacy & Data Governance Congress — speakers and attendees — should be able to enjoy the entire Congress. That’s why the registration fee includes all sessions, all meals, and all networking opportunities.

To facilitate wider participation in our events, we keep our registration rates remarkably affordable.

Group rates are available when 5 or more from the same organization register at the same time. Gorup discounts cannot be combined with Super Saver, Early Bird, or othe discount or offer. Email us for details.

Student rates are available for people currently enrolled and attending a post-secondary institution. Email us for details about the discounted student rate. We may require proof of student status.

Media are welcome to attend all sessions of the Conference following accreditation. Complete and submit the Media Accreditation Application at least 30 days before the Congress start date.

Details to Remember

Venue. Building and room location will be provided to registered attendees prior to the event.

Dress Code. Business attire is suitable for all conference sessions and receptions. Room temperatures are centrally controlled and cannot be adjusted regardless whether it is too cold or too warm, so we recommend dressing with this in mind.

Scent Free Zone. PACC events are ‘scent free zones’. The chemicals used in scented products can cause allergic reactions, migraine headaches, and can aggravate other health problems, particularly for those with fragrance sensitivities, asthma, allergies, and other medical conditions. Please use unscented personal care products and avoid wearing perfume, cologne, aftershave, scented hand lotion, and other fragranced products.

Refunds and Cancellations. Congress passes are non-refundable. Registered attendees may request a registration transfer to another person (i.e., colleague, client, or guest) at least 30 days before the event start date. If transferring a Congress registration to another person is not possible, it can be applied toward your attendance at the next Congress. Members who transfer their registration to a non-PACC member will be charged the difference in registration rate applicable at the time of transfer. If the registration transfer is from a non-member to a PACC member, the non-PACC member will receive a credit for the difference in registration rate applicable at the time of transfer, less a $25 administration fee.

Dietary Restrictions. Note any dietary restrictions on the registration form during checkout, or contact us at least 30 days before the start of the event. Our team will do their best to accommodate these requests.

Media may be present at PACC events.

Photography and Videography. Registering or attending this conference constitutes an agreement by the participant to PACC using and distributing (both immediately and in the future) the person’s image and/or voice in photographs, videos, electronic video and/or audio reproduction, without notice or compensation. If you are opposed to being photographed, please contact us at least 30 days before the event start date, and also mention it to PACC staff on site as soon as you arrive at the event venue.
