The Facial Recognition Technology Roundtable is an opportunity for Access to Information and Privacy practitioners working in Canada’s Law Enforcement community to offer insights on the use of facial recognition technology (FRT) by police across Canada, and on the legal and policy framework for police use of FRT.
Roundtable results will contribute to guidance being developed by Information and Privacy Commissioners on the use of FRT by federal, provincial, regional and municipal police agencies across Canada, and on the legal and policy framework for police use of FRT. All comments and insights will remain anonymous (unless otherwise specifically requested).
