Justice & Privacy: Navigating Legal Challenges in Survivor Support

The Genvis Innovation in Public Safety Series is an initiative bringing together frontline service providers, legal professionals, and government agencies to explore new approaches to survivor-centred responses in the context of intimate partner and family violence, human trafficking, and exploitation.
This roundtable focuses on the legal and privacy challenges faced by those supporting survivors in justice-involved settings. It brings together experts across law, privacy, and frontline practice to explore how to protect survivor dignity and safety while navigating the realities of information requests, legal risk, and institutional accountability.
