CAN/DGSI 100-11: Data Governance – Part 11: Delivery of community and human services has now been posted for Public Review on the DGC website.
This document specifies minimum requirements for the responsible and privacy-preserving collection, storage, use, and sharing of personal information by organisations delivering community and human services. This Standard serves as a guide to help nonprofit organisations and funders engage with their data in ethical and equitable ways and to advance the culture of data collection, storage & use in the sector.
The Public Review period will run from October 10th, 2024, to December 13th, 2024, during which time any interested party, as well as Technical Committee participants, may comment on the future National Standard of Canada by visiting the DGC website.
All comments submitted will be compiled and dispositioned by the Technical Committee at a future meeting to be scheduled following the closing of the public review period.
