The City of Mississauga is creating a policy – the first of its kind in Canada – that will guide and control how technology is introduced and used across the city to improve the quality of life for residents, businesses and visitors – a Smart City for everybody.
Residents and stakeholders are invited to learn more about Mississauga as a Smart City, to provide input into the proposed policy, and to share ideas and ask questions during virtual community meetings featuring presentations by Dr. Ann Cavoukian, former Information and Privacy Commissioner of Ontario and Dr. Brenda McPhail, Director, Privacy, Technology & Surveillance Program at Canadian Civil Liberties Association.
